Why I Haven’t Been Blogging

I have been working on my third book.

WHY DID I WRITE IT?

For 20 years I didn’t know how to live. I wasn’t sure who I was and what I was meant to do. Then suddenly, everything changed as Christ came into my heart. My very personality was transformed. I thought this was normal for all Christians.

After pastoring for 12 years, I can see many people who appear successful outside, yet feel miserable inside. You can be a Christian, yet be dogged with inner conflicts and addictions. I wrote this book to show you the exact steps I took to be free and build a rock solid faith.

WHO DID I WRITE THIS FOR?

Anyone who wants a mentor – someone to hold their hand and show them how to develop a personal relationship with God that impacts their life and emotions. Eventually, a mentor will let go of your hands, but I am convinced that we let go of some Christians too soon.

I especially thought of strategies to deal with the phenomenon of socially withdrawn teenagers and young adults. The Japanese have coined a term for this subculture of people called the ‘Hikikomori‘ and for their condition known as ‘new style depression‘. The phenomenon is not confined to Japan.

There is a growing population of church goers who exhibit traits of Hikikomori: passive, isolated, lacking motivation, delaying marriage, often addicted to porn, uncommitted to a career, can’t work but can play, travel and pursue hobbies. Whether or not you can identify with these challenges, you will find something immediately practicable, every day, for 30 days.

WHAT WILL YOU GET?

If you have a major decision to make, don’t do anything until you follow the strategies in my new book ‘30 Days to a New You: Steps to Unshakable Faith & Freedom‘. Pause and read for 30 days. At the end of it, you will be wiser and feel more confident about what to do!
